When He's Not With Us

It's soccer season. That means Daddy is gone a good 12 hours a day. Or more than that on game days.
I was so excited this morning when I logged onto Facebook & saw these pics that a high school student had uploaded.
This pic, I'm guessing that Hot Hubs was showing off his new tennies (Just kidding Jeff, I know you were probably explaining some skill!).

And here, he looks very disappointed. I'm guessing that they were getting a very serious coachy talk. (by the way, they won, so it must've paid off)
This is one of Jeff's fav players, Taylor.
Not that I'm counting them down or anything, but the games are 1/2 way over!

what great pics! LOVE it when someone else catches a shot when you can't be there! As mom of a soccer player - just gotta say I'm so appreciative of the dedication and time spent away from family that our coaches give! thanks to Jeff and all the coaches out there!!

Wow ... that coach, dad and son is really something! Seems to me that his great 'personality' touches lots of folks ... his kids, his team and anyone he comes in contact.
That coach's, dad to his kids and son to us, Mom and Dad ;-)

I'd be hoping it over also. Is he home for the summer with you? I secretly wish that John had chosen teaching just for that reason. My poor sister is being laid off again at the end of this year due to budget cuts. I didn't know how hard this teaching profession actually was until she chose it. Oof.
