When it's too cold or too dark,

but to bring the snow INSIDE.

That is a great idea! I will have to try that some time. Although, I am hoping (beyond hope) that the snow will have magically disappeared by the time I get back!!
What a fun activity! I read one time that a mom filled up her bathtub with snow and let the kids sit in it with their snowpants to scoop.
I think, if the weather continues we'll try this on Monday.
