It's Not Gabrielle

I mean, maybe I wouldn't be so sore if Gabrielle was the original form, you know, GABRIEL, the messenger of God?!
Or, if it was indicative of his gender, right there, in his file.

Or could it because he's a he being referred to as a she?
Maybe that's it, cuz I don't get sore when people think Flynn is a boy's name. Then again, I expect that.

Oh my. Who on earth thought Gabriel was a girl!?!?!

This sounds familiar! The nurses and photographers say okay you can bring HER back now...refering to my little boy, Taran. They see the name and assume he's a girl. :)

The nurses do open the waiting rm door & say, "Gabrielle?" I'm like, "Um, Gabriel?"
And, anything automated (like when we get a call to remind 'HER' of 'HER' upcoming appt) pronounces it GABRIELLE.
I don't get it.

Sounds like when my son is called "Ion". Am, no, it's IAN. He's not named after an atom. It happens ALL the time. So annoying. I hope you are diaper free in '08. It's such a free feeling not dragging those darn diapers around. Best of Luck!

And what about when your daughter is dressed in an ALL pink dress but is called a "handsome little guy."

Yea.

Julia didn't have hair until after she was one...but, I mean, come on now!
