Couldn't Resist

Maybe some of you see this commercial & think, "Cool. Good idea." But when Jeff & I first saw it, we burst into fits of laughter & had so many things to say (as usual). I couldn't wait to embed it on my blog (can't figure out how, thinking youtube doesn't embed for blogger anymore??) & share the corniness. Enjoy.

That is SO funny that you posted that because I just saw a print ad for it and it caused me to take a double look and chuckle and think to myself- how dumb!! But- I have to admit, after watching the commercial- I kinda want one. I mean, seriously- it could come in really handy when my family and I are roasting marshmellows around the fire... (what?!?!?!?!?!) :)

This is so hideous....it's like a church choir robe gone bad. But I could actually see Mom loving it!!!! Hilarious!

Ok. I am totally serious when I tell you that I WAS going to order one of these for my sister up in Iowa....but now that you have made fun of it.....I've totally changed my mind.

I totally knew that was the commercial before I even clicked on the link!!! We're talking about advertising techniques in both my Speech II and Radio/TV classes this week, and of course the Snuggie was a HUGE topic of conversation (as it was at my in-laws' house over Christmas).

As my sister-in-law says, "Why don't you just get a robe and put it on backwards?"

I just love how the commercial makes having a regular blanket look like such a travesty!

Lynn. Hahahahaha. You are so funny. But since your sis doesn't read my blog (at least I don't think she does?), go with it! Esp w/ those cold Iowa temps!!

Kim. YES, when the lady has on a "regular" blanket, she can't use the phone (God forbid) & heavens, how could she ever read holding wearing a regular blanket??!!

And, I'd LOVE to see someone wearing one of those at a football game. If I do, I'll take a photo with my phone & post it here. PS Watch it again (that particular scene) & see just how one size fits ALL it is on the 6 yr old girl.

I'm waiting for them to come out with a Lover's Snuggie. THAT I might be interested in.

My son got a fleece blanket for Christmas and wanted us to sew arms in it so he could have one, how funny!
