I started this tradition habit while making noodles...
I will say, "BABY BIRDS, BABY BIRDS!!"
And here they'll come, heads up,
beaks open,
while I drop in the baby bird pieces.

Now that is sooooo "Perry kids" - those wascally wabbits are just toooooo cute for their own good as well all those of us who love them beyond measure!
Our kids would love it at your house. My tradition..or habit that's forming all too quickly is putting.up.the.gate.to.the.kitchen....leaving this mama bird to fly solo through supper preparation.
That is so cute! I should try this with Jacob. Pasta is his very favorite food and if I leave the pan for any length of time, he is helping himself and its getting everywhere. And pasta is so hard to sweep off the floor. I really enjoy your blog, by the way; :)
I love it! I love how Flynn gets in position right away. Then, a quick check to her right to see if Gabe's on board. And then back to position. Looks like she knows the drill! I would play along, too, if I were at your house. And if the noodles had butter/alfredo sauce/cheese/meat sauce or the like on them.
“To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.”

That is SUCH much kids... except I call them "dolphins" - and I never trained them. They just smell the goods and come running with mouths wide open.
do they say "tweet, tweet"?
